FAQs

This gives us a chance to meet before we commit to working together. It’s really a time for you to interview me. During the consultation ask me anything you want. I will also learn your design style, organization needs (if any) as well as the scope of the project.

Expect me to be punctual whether we’re meeting online or in person.  Expect a positive attitude and someone who will provide you with an amazing customer service experience. Expect your dream room to come to life. I am so passionate about helping people have the life they want, and that starts in the home!

If you agree with any line from the list below, then virtual design is not a good idea for you.

  1. Want little to nothing to do with the design of the space
  2. Not interested in taking measurements, hanging art/mirrors, wall décor, emptying the space of any furniture, painting a room or hiring a professional to do these things.
  3. Are not interested or well versed in using Facetime/WhatsApp
  4. Are not interested in frequent contact with the designer
  5. Want the room designed completely without your involvement

Unfortunately, no.  I have to block out time to work with you, which doesn’t allow me to work with other clients.  For this reason, you will not receive a refund. However, I encourage you to communicate with me what the problem is. Check out my testimonials!  You can always come to me with a problem.

I offer several different options. This allows for flexibility & many different people with different schedules to work with me.  Here it is plain & simple.

1. Virtual Design. I work one room at a time. Every room is $650 (unless specified otherwise) and must be paid in full prior to our start date.

2. Local Design:

My hourly billing rate is $85/hr. I require an initial retainer of $500 to begin work, which is equal to approximately 6 hours of work. Once the initial retainer is exhausted, I require advance payments of $500 increments until the project is finished.  Naturally, any unused portion will be refunded.

3. Organization:

My billing rate is $50/hr. I require an initial retainer of $500 to begin work, which is equal to approximately 10 hours of work. Once the initial retainer is exhausted, I require advance payments of $250 increments until the project is finished.  Naturally, any unused portion will be refunded.

For the 1 room Option:

My billing rate is $50/hr. Payment for 8 hours, which totals $400, must be made in full prior to start date. If work is finished in less than 8 hours no refunds are given as the 8-hour full work day has been reserved.

Returns are handled entirely by you. That being said, because we’re using my trade discount everywhere, my business email will be on most orders. I will of course pass on any pertinent information you need to make the return.

I can be reached Monday-Saturday, 9am - 5pm CST.

Or you can email me 24/7 at:

As long as you call or text during these hours, I am available for you. If I don’t pick up or respond right away expect an answer the same day. I won’t make you wait, that’s not my style! I got you.

I love this question! Part of designing is picking out the furniture & décor, but something happens in a space when the items are placed. They may need to move! Most times furniture is placed in different areas than expected no matter how much pre- planning is involved.

It’s also very important I show you where to hang the art. Most people hang art MUCH too high. This will save you holes in the wall & time if I can point out exactly where items should be hung.

The last thing either of us want is for you to go home with all the new items, place them in the spot we agreed and not be thrilled with it and not know why. I’m removing that! I’ll be there to make sure it’s a dream home by the time I leave.

I used to be a production designer in Hollywood. This means I was responsible for everything visual for every scene in a film. I worked on shorts & features and am so thrilled to apply what I learned in Hollywood. The biggest thing I learned by working on independent features is how to spread the dollar. I was given a fraction of what Hollywood Blockbusters shell out for design and by having this tiny little budget, I learned a lot of money isn’t needed to design a beautiful room, and this is how I approach your home!

I also graduated from The Academy of Home Staging & Design winning their top award for “Best Designer”  which catapulted me into staging homes all over Orange County, and LA, California.

Do a consultation with me and let’s talk it all out. Like a therapist! Let me hear everything on your mind & I’ll provide a solution. Sometimes the solution is not doing anything yet!
When you work with me online I choose all furniture & decor, upon your approval I send you links, and then YOU make ALL furniture & decor purchases.
